My Beginning

I was born and bred in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. My earliest memory was playing with plastic 101 Dalmatians toy dogs on the floor of the kitchen with our family pets: a Dalmatian named Star, and an Irish Setter named Lesty. These two dogs where the start of my lifelong passion for animals and the Beginning of This is Z Life.
Love for dogs was only the start. I had everything from Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches to Chickens (and many between). My parents may have said no to some things, but that never stopped me…I really enjoyed exotic pets during my younger years. I think mainly because many were small enough to stay in my room and easy for a kid to care for.
