Reich Anatolian Shepherds

The beginning of Reich Anatolian Shepherds was Rising Phoenix Annastasia. She works with chickens, goats, and has a sensible understanding of horses. She whelped 2 amazing litters of puppies with Stonecoat Don’t Give a Puck (Click Here for his page!).

Our goal is to raise successful puppies and help generations to come with our Anatolian Shepherd Blog (Click Here!) Our puppies have found homes across the USA as Anatolian Livestock Guardian Dogs and Family Protectors. We believe in our puppies and love to see them working with their new partners.

Anatolian Shepherd Temperament

These dogs are not for beginners as they require special training and care. Anatolians are bred to make decisions without us using their own reasoning. Their stubborn intelligence makes formidable guardians who never take a day off. Anatolian Shepherd dogs are livestock guardians and not herders.

We want to help you with practical advice on socializing and training Anatolians especially while they are young. Puppies raised with kindness, structure, and respect of natural Anatolian Shepherd temperament is our goal. We want to encourage bonding with your Anatolian. We want to encourage you in your individual journey. So, this page is for any Anatolian Shepherd owner, whether your Anatolian lives in the house or the field we believe they can live a fulfilled life.
